Dealing with the Bogeyman
Does your dog seem uncomfortable with men? Is she afraid of the teeter, plastic bags or enclosed spaces? Does he seem stressed out? Many performance dogs (and companion dogs, too!) develop challenges like these, and solving these issues positively will hinge on your understanding of the fundamentals!
Anyone who has a fearful dog needs a thorough grounding in basic behavior modification concepts before attempting rehabilitation. How does desensitization work in real life? Is it ok to comfort a fearful dog? In this course we will go over the fundamentals of fear in dogs, what we often do as owners that makes it worse, and modern approaches to fixing it. This will be a Silver and Bronze level course only, with lecture and discussion, and is a pre-requisite for the Practical Applications course.

Disc Dog Freestyle
Winter is the perfect time to work on your disc freestyle routine! Oh, that snow and sleet and ice outside? No worries! In this class, we will focus on teaching new tricks that can be incorporated into any freestyle routine to add flow and style that will stand out from the rest of the competition. This class can be completed indoors in a small area with non-slick footing.

Intro to NW Search Elements
Did you know that the MOST important time in a dog's early career in Nosework happens AFTER they learn target odor (as in NW101) and BEFORE they start their general searching? Making mistakes now are costly. In this transition time, the dog (and handler) learns searching habits, passive indication, precision, consistency, and the ability to work in new and novel locations. THIS class forms the initial foundation to get you off onto the right track. Without these skills, a team may suffer from missed hides and false alerts and their ability to move up the levels successfully may be hampered.

Rally Foundation Skills
Are you ready to take your dog training to the next level while deepening your bond as a team? Welcome to Get Ready to Rally: Foundation Skills, a fun and supportive class designed to build Rally foundations, strengthen teamwork, and help you truly enjoy training with your dog. This class is perfect for brand new Rally teams, and it’s also a great fit for experienced teams who want to rebuild and strengthen their foundations, improve precision, and gain confidence in the skills that matter most.

Mondioring Obedience
Mondioring Obedience is a fun new obedience venue catered to all breeds! Based on real-life challenges and working under distraction, Mondioring takes familiar obedience exercises to a new level. With the development of the United States Mondioring Association's Obedience-only program, now any dog can participate and earn titles.
This class will cover each of the exercises in the obedience-only program. Working spots will progress at their own pace, students can work on training the behavior or if the behavior is already known, distractions will be introduced under the guidance of the instructor.
Even if competition isn't your goal, this class will help your dog generalize their obedience behaviors to the extreme!
The exercises in the Mondioring Obedience program include:
Heeling
Down stay with distraction
Position changes
Food refusal
Retrieve
Send away

Unstick the Stuck Heeling
Are you and your dog struggling with heeling? Do you and your dog have nice heeling when you train, but the performance falls apart when you leave the comfort of home? Have you been stuck with the same problem for a while and have no idea how to move forward?

Container Wizardry: Fixes
This class is about creating the AMAZING Container Dog...

Competition Heeling Fundamentals
Great heeling is a pleasure to watch. Dog and handler moving together as one. The dog is happy, animated, joyful and confident. Heeling is a dance that should express joy and teamwork. How do you accomplish that? Great fundamentals! Heeling is a complex behavior chain incorporating focal point, position and engagement. I break heeling down into pieces that will make sense to you AND your dog. Each piece is taught as a fun trick. With clear communication and consistent criteria your dog will enjoy learning how to heel. We will work on handling to ensure you are being the best possible partner for your dog. We will start with straight line heeling and add the foundation for halts and turns. Whether your dog is learning how to heel or knows how to heel and has some holes, this course is for you.
